Read
an Excerpt
If
you are interested in reading a bit of this book, I would suggest
all of Part
I, Chapters 1-6. The chapters are rather short, and it should
be an easy read. Parts I is important in revealing the character
of the man who sacrificed a promising military career, and apparently
suffered an early death, because of his outrage at the way his government
had treated the Vietnamese people.
These
six chapters provide a structure around which the story is built.
Every element of this introductory part foreshadows events that
evolve throughout the book, some of which are not concluded until
the final pages. Take a look at these chapters and let me know what
you think. Just send an email to fhd@floydduncan.com.
