Married with four children, two grandchildren. U. S. citizen. Veteran, retired from the U. S. Army Reserve in 1994. Rank, Colonel.

Military Experience

Served as an officer in the United States Army, including a year in the Republic of Vietnam with the First Infantry Division, 1965-66.

Attended the U. S. Army War College as a resident student during the 1984-85 academic year.

Served as an Adjunct Faculty Instructor with the Army War College for extended active duty tours during June and July 1985, 1986, 1987, 1988 and 1990.

Served as a member of the Consulting Faculty of the Master of Military Art and Science program with the Command and General Staff College, Sep 88-Apr 91.

Primary responsibility for developing a support mission for the 310th Theater Army Area Command with the United States Southern Command, Republic of Panama. Established and directed a team of logistics experts to develop a plan to support military operations during the Panama Canal Treaty implementation.

At the time of retirement served as the Deputy Commander for Logistics, 310th Theater Army Area Command, Ft. Belvoir, Virginia. Rank: Colonel.
